RECOVERY OFFICER

Responsibilities:
- Achieve collection goals as outlined by the collection strategy.
- Maintain accurate records of all settlement agreements with clients.
- Conduct daily follow-ups with customers, ensuring logs are up-to-date.
- Collaborate effectively with Branch Managers and Loan Officers to drive timely recoveries.
- Perform regular site visits, calls, and follow-ups to implement agreed-upon recovery plans in partnership with Team Leads.
- Send demand and reminder letters to delinquent customers, ensuring proper documentation and ongoing monitoring of credit files.
- Proactively follow up on high-priority debtor accounts, using calls and other appropriate recovery methods.
- Supervise Recovery Agents to ensure timely recovery of assigned accounts.
- Identify unauthorized balances and ensure early warning protocols are followed for any newly created PDOs.
- Monitor and recover PDOs and expired CMB loans at branch level.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Regional Head of Recovery.

- Foster a risk and compliance-driven culture, with clear performance measures tied to individual risk responsibilities.
- Manage compliance risks inherent in day-to-day operations and ensure processes, policies, and procedures are continuously updated to meet regulatory requirements.
